Mongolian Domains

Mongolia is country located in East and Central Asia. It borders Russia to the north and China to the south, east, and west. Its largest city is called Ulan Bantor and holds 45% of Mongolia's population. Founded by the infamous Genghis Khan in 1206 Mongolia has struggled for independence. As of 1945 it has been internationally recognized as independent after Mongolia's independence following Soviet and Russian political regimes. As the communist parties fell in the 1990's a Democratic Revolution was born and the economy transitioned to a market economy.

It is the 19th largest country and second largest landlocked country behind Kazakhstan. 30% of the population is nomadic as much of the land is covered by steppes, deserts, and mountains with very little arable land. The weather ranges from very hot in the summer to extremely cold in the winter.
