.ac.vn Domain Names

To purchase your domain name, you must first search for the availability of the unique phrase (without spaces or with hyphens). If the domain name is available, you may then add it to the cart to register for up to 2 years. If the .ac.vn country code domain is not available, then either modify your phrase, or inquire about purchasing the name outright through 101domain's Domain Concierge Service.

.AC.VN is intended for academic institutions involved in research activities

For Organizations:

1) A copy of your Business Registration or Trademark

2) A copy of passport/ID for the domain administrator. Date of birth is required, please submit via support ticket if not on the document.

3) A Registration Contract, signed and dated (provided by support). The document must be on your company letterhead or signed with your company stamp.

For Individuals:

1) A copy of your passport/ID. Date of birth is required, please submit via support ticket if not on the document.

2) A Registration Contract, signed and dated (provided by support).

Please note, entities and individuals located within Vietnam must register with a local Vietnamese registrar due to the policy of VNNIC (Vietnamese Registry).

The Registry requires all registrants of .VN domains to pass their real name verification. To renew .VN domain name the registrant is required to provide a documentation that confirms the registrant information, such as a copy of Passport or company registration certificate.

A fee is charged for DNS updates and ownership updates.
